Part-time Work with Exchange Students
YOUYH International is a non-profit high school foreign exchange student organization. We welcome teenagers from over 80 countries worldwide and provide host families. The Community Representative is a part-time position designed for people with a strong desire to do something rewarding in the community and earn some extra money.
Applicants(申請(qǐng)人) best suited for this work should enjoy teenagers, have a strong interest in cross-cultural communication and feel comfortable networking. Full training and support will be provided through branch offices throughout the US. Positions available in most states.

Members of Parliament (MPs) warned that the privacy（隱藏）of thousands of mobile phone users is in danger today because of Google's new tracking system. In a motion（提案）,they also warned that the system offers live tracking of mobiles through a website and called on Google to examine the service.
The Latitude system can find where a user is . This is then broadcasted live to Google's website. Once the service is activated , the position of a person's phone appears as a blue dot on a map on the screen of whoever is allowed to monitor（監(jiān)控）them . The Latitude feature is being developed by Google as a "fun" way to "keep tabs on someone special", More than a million users around the world have already signed up to the service, Google claims .
However, concerns have been raised about the system. MPs have written to Google demanding extra security(安全) safeguards on the service。
Mr. Brake , one of the MPs who raised the motion, said , "In Britain, we have a tradition of fighting for our freedom. With this new system we face a threat to it . I demand MPs to support this motion and encourage the Government to take action to ensure that Latitude does not represent a threat to our privacy. or our freedom could be in danger."
Google today insisted there was no threat to privacy .It said it was up to users to decide whether to make their location visible to other people and to decide who could monitor their position .The service was designed to help people keep in touch .
However , human rights watchdog Privacy International analyzed the service and claimed it was open to abuse（濫用）. Its report claimed employers could supply employees with phones already set up to use the service without their knowledge, or that users could simply sign up their partner's or child's mobile phone without telling them .

Many famous actors and actresses who have Oscar wins and nominations (提名)are included, but the filmmakers remain keeping their roles in the film secret.
Producers are showing no signs of cutting off the cost of Skyfall. “It is at the same level as the 2008’s Quantum of Solace, which cost about $200m. The film will be made in the Whitehall, Scotland, China and Turkey, as well as Pinewood Studios.” Said a producer.
Why has 007 been popular for so long? Professor James Chapman of Leicester University, the author of the book A Cultural History of the James Bond Films, said, “They manage to let each new film meet the changes not just in society but in the popular taste of film culture. That lets each generation get their own Bond.”

Professor Reason recently persuaded 35 people to keep a diary of all their absent-minded actions for two weeks. When he came to analyze their embarrassing errors, he was surprised to find that nearly all of them fell into a few groups.
One of the women, for instance, on leaving her house for work one morning threw her pet dog her earrings and tried to fix a dog biscuit on her ear. “The explanation for this is that the brain is like a computer,” explains the professor. “People programme themselves to do certain activities regularly.” It was the woman’s custom every morning to throw her dog two biscuits and then put on her earrings. “But somehow the action got reversed（顛倒）in the programme.” About one in twenty of the incidents the volunteers reported were these “programme assembly failures.”
Twenty percent of all errors were “test failures” — mainly due to not verifying the progress of what the body was doing. A man about to get his car out of the garage passed through the back yard where his garden jacket and boots were kept, put them on — much to his surprise. A woman reported, “I got into the bath with my socks on.”
The commonest problem was information “storage failures”. People forgot the names of people whose faces they knew, went into a room and forgot why they were there, mislaid something, or smoked a cigarette without realizing it.
The research so far suggests that while the central processor of the brain is liberated from second-to-second control of a well-practiced routine, it must repeatedly switch back its attention at important decision points to check that the action goes on as intended. Otherwise the activity may be gotten by another frequently and recently used programme, resulting in embarrassing errors.
