Writing a good story is no easy task. What’s the secret? Mo Yan, a Nobel Prize winner in literature, believes his success comes from a large amount of reading.
Mo was born into a farming family in a village in Shandong province. He grew up listening to folk (民間的) stories about gods, spirits and foxes. Those stories later became the inspiration(靈感) for Mo’s writing.
Mo left school at the age of 12 and started to work in the fields. Although he was tired after his daily hard work, Mo was always hungry for books. However, there were very few in the village. He carries a smoke hood but warns that you must follow his example and learn how to use it. Otherwise you'll waste time trying to put it on time that could be used for making an exit.
5. Listen to the flight attendants
Listen to the flight attendants carefully and read the safety card after you get on the plane. Be prepared. And if you're about to crash, do 1ike this -- head down, ankles behind knees. The brace position is one of the most important things that a passenger should take on board when they fly. It’s designed to reduce your chances of being knocked during a heavy crash.
