Dickens, one of the greatest English writers, was born in one of the smallest towns of England in 1812.
When Dickens was nine years old, the family moved to London, the capital of England. There were several children in the family. Their life was hard, so Dickens could not go to school.

Every year several thousand people are killed on the roads in Great Britain. Every year between one and two hundred thousand people are injured. These people are killed or injured in road accidents.

If you see small children, or very old people, or blind people, waiting to cross the road, it is kind act to help them cross the mad.
