Shine, head of the kindergarten, felt proud of his pupil. “ Dancy’s spelling skills helped him seize the moment,” he said. “And that’s the real value (價值 ) of education.”

Some of them went to other parts of Java but many of them disappeared — forever. The same thing is happening now in many other parts of the world. The rainforests are in danger.

What's more, just like the explorers of the past, they need to keep an open mind and learn to get on well with the people they meet.
