Once there was a man traveling in a faraway village. As he was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped. He found that these huge elephants were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains(鎖鏈)， no cages. It was clear that the elephants could, at any time, break away from their ropes but for some reason, they did not.

(B) What are you going to do if you are in a burning house?
Escaping(逃離) a fire is a serious matter. Knowing what to do during a fire can save yourself. It is important to know the ways you can use and to show them to everyone in the family, such as stairways (樓梯) and fire escapes, but not lifts（電梯）.

Saturday, June 16th
In the morning, we went camping in Green Natural Park. We were happy because it was a sunny day. We were looking forward to a wonderful two-day holiday. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes.
However, in the afternoon, when we finished our picnic at one o’clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a shower(陣雨). Unluckily, none(沒有人) of us brought an umbrella. We ran about but we could find no place to hide.

At about five o’clock, it stopped raining. We decided to give up (放棄)the camping trip because all of us were very tired.
