My parents have always loved everything about India, so a year ago we went on holiday there. It’s a wonderful 15 with beautiful scenes and interesting people . However, I didn’t enjoy Indian 16 very much.
On the second day we planned to see an old palace. At the 17 they said. “If you go by train, it’ll take you only two hours to get there.” However, the hot 18 took over four hours. Well, they looked delicious so I ate the first one very 21 . I was just putting the second one in my mouth when I felt myself 22 —my mouth was on fire! I started to cough（咳嗽）and there were tears (淚水)in my eyes. I couldn’t 23 how spicy (辛辣的) it was!
I drank about ten glasses of water but the worst thing was everyone was laughing at me. You couldn’t make me eat another Indian meatball for all the 24 in the world!

When I heard this, I thought deeply: “While meeting with a stranger, I was calm and polite; but with my daughter, I was not patient (耐心的). I felt sad and tears began to fall.
I quietly went to Betty’s bed, “Wake up, my dear,” I said, “Are these the flowers you picked for me?” She smiled, “t found them by the tree. I knew you’d like them, especially the blue.” I said, “I am so sorry that I treated (對待) you that way today.” And she whispered (悄聲說), “Mommy, that’s okay ¾ I still love you anyway.” I kissed her and said, “I love you too and I do love the flowers.”
That day Betty gave me a lesson on how to get along with each other in the family. I spent much time on work before and didn’t realize how important family life was. I decided to do better in the future.

The best holiday of my life was two years ago. My parents, my aunt and uncle, my three cousins and I all went to India together. We spent two weeks traveling around and we visited many interesting places. The night before we left for India, I was so excited that I could not sleep. Our plane left at 1 p.m. and it took nearly six hours to fly to New Delhi. It was raining when we arrived. We were all very tired so we went straight to our hotel.
The next day, we went on a sightseeing tour. I took lots of photos and we all bought souvenirs at the markets. I learned that there is also a place called Delhi which is the oldest part of the city.
On the third day of our trip, we went to a place called Jaipur. At Jaipur we visited the Palace Museum and rode elephants. The elephant I rode was so big that I almost fell off. While my cousins and I were riding elephants, our parents went to look at the pink buildings that Jaipur is famous for.
Some people think that all Indian food is very spicy. But there are some dishes that are not spicy at all. My favourite dish is chicken. It is delicious. It tastes a little bit sweet. We ate rice every day, just like at home.
India is so big that it is impossible to see all of it in one trip. I hope that I can visit it again some day.
